A Heart-felt Thanks From DCB!

"Let's put on some music to get in the Valentine's Day mood ..."

The boxes of chocolates have been eaten. The candles have burned out. The empty wine bottles have been recycled. The lingerie has been folded and put away for another year. The gear for the next holiday has appeared on the Walmart shelves. Valentine’s Day has passed us by.

The Durham County Band wishes to extend its wholehearted thanks to all the people who interacted with our inaugural release, Valentine’s Day. Some people liked it on FaceBook; others watched the video and shared it with their friends; still others played the song on the radio or requested the song as a part of their celebration.

The reception was tremendous, overwhelmingly positive, and occasionally, quite touching. The band wishes to tip its collective hat to the following radio stations that picked up “Valentine’s Day” in the days leading up to the most romantic day of the year, or included it as part of their Valentine’s Day programming:
